   The hotel is situated in an ideal position for those wanting to have a quiet holiday as well as exploring the surrounding sites.
   Located just outside Sykia village in the Sithonia peninsula of Halkidiki, we are a small family-run hotel with good quality rooms and  we aim to give  friendly service.
   The hotel is in a calm environment with unspoilt beaches nearby and some of the cleanest seas in Europe.  A refreshing breeze blows off from the sea [about 500m away] throughout the summer.  Behind, mountains provide a very scenic backdrop and olive trees, vineyards and mulberry trees endow the area with its renowned greenery.  The mulberry trees are a legacy of the silk industry which flourished here until the tourist industry took over in the early ‘70’s.  Agriculture is a major activity and Sykia is famous for it’s local breed of cow, goat meat and feta cheese products. Honey production is a very important source of revenue and beehives can be seen along hillsides and road verges.
 
   Sykia village is 4km away but the hotel is within easy access of all local  shops and amenities.  The village itself has several garages and petrol stations, supermarkets, a post office and an ATM cash machine.  There is a bakery, a butcher’s shop, a taverna, a souvenir shop and a news stand within easy walking distance.
   Night-life is far enough away to avoid any disturbance but can be found  easily in the local vicinity.  Beach bars, discos and tavernas are sprinkled along some of the beach fronts in Sykia and the nearby villages of Sarti and Toroni offer lively alternative entertainment with souvenir shops and eating places.

   There are organized tours to sites in Northern Greece from Sarti and boat trips to Mount Athos. Local car rental can easily be arranged, as well as mopeds and quad-bikes.
